I commend your initiative in supporting yourself and your future by choosing therapy to help you reach your life goals

In our work together, my approach is client-centered, meaning that I support you in deciding what you need and want to work on. I strive to dismantle power dynamics that you have experienced in past therapy settings and empower my clients to become the experts of themselves, offering you support and reassurance along the way.

I truly believe that you embody the internal wisdom to support your self-healing; I will support you in learning and implementing this wisdom to help you live the life that you imagine for yourself.

In our therapeutic work, I aim to offer space for you to share all aspects of your personality, encouraging and sharing humor and levity when appropriate

I attempt to create a more casual environment, where you can relax and feel at ease during your sessions.

Once you reach out to schedule a consultation, we will confirm a day and time to meet. You can let me know if you prefer to meet via a phone call or by Zoom/video for our consultation. Please see my FAQ’s page to help you prepare for the consultation. Please note that I am currently located in Mountain time (MT) and, once you share where you reside, I will convert all your appointments to your time zone so there is no confusion.

In your first session, we will discuss your therapy goals and develop a plan to help you reach your goals. We can discuss if implementing IFS and/or EMDR, two of my most often used treatment modalities due to their efficacy and empowerment, may support your needs.

Getting started in treatment will help you take the first steps in creating the life you desire and deserve

I provide clients located in California, New Mexico, Utah, South Carolina, and Rhode Island with a range of therapeutic supports to reach their goals

As a Marriage and Family therapist and Registered Art Therapist specializing in trauma, anxiety, and grief/loss, my treatments are tailored to help you meet your personal goals.

I primarily work with individual adults, including older adults, and older adolescents ages 16 and up. I often implement EMDR and IFS modalities to support healing from trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, and depression.

In addition to conceptualizing your treatment through a trauma-focused lens, I also implement some elements of narrative, and psychodynamic treatment modalities.
